The Preserve at Verdae offers complete instruction and practice facilities ideal for the experienced player or the beginner golfer and can tailor their programs with individual lessons or group clinics to maximize your golfing potential. Our instructors have over 40 years combined golf experience and are ready to help take your game to the next level!

Private Lessons:
Available by appointment only. Please call golf shop to schedule your lesson. Rates vary based upon instructor. Average 1 hour lesson: $65-$85 per person and multiple lesson packages are available.

Group Lessons:
Our instructors are pleased to offer customized group instruction for families, teams, companies, leagues, etc. Please call the golf shop to inquire about options and rates.

Instructor Bios:

Paul Albert, PGA, Director of Golf / Head Golf Professional.

Paul has over 22 years experience in the golf industry and instruction and became a Class A Professional in 1992. His career includes positions in notable facilities such as Sandestin, Grand Cypress Resort and Walt Disney World Golf Resort. He is a 1981 graduate of Ole Miss with a Bachelor in Business Administration and Minor in Sports Medicine and Sports Management. Paul has been with The Preserve at Verdae as Director of Golf and Head Professional since 2004, and lives in Greenville with his wife Catherine and daughter Madison.

Karen Delehanty, PGA

Karen has been a PGA pro for the past 25+ years.  She began her career at Atlanta Country Club.  She also served as Head Professional at Sea Island Golf Club in Georgia, Teaching Professional at Bloomfield Hills Country Club, in Michigan,  as well as Director of Golf at Greenville Country Club.  Karen brings her knowledge and teaching expertise to The Preserve at Verdae where she has been working since 2012.

Keith M. Turchan, USGTF Level III Teaching Professional

Keith has been a teaching professional since 2011.  He began career in Norwood, MA and has been in Greenville since 2013. He’s worked with some of the most prestigious golf instructors and taught in numerous clinics in the Northeast. He brings this experience to The Preserve at Verdae. Keith’s focus is on fundamentals of the golf swing and he incorporates new technology to better assist his student.
