Greenville, SC
Our 18 hole, par 72 championship golf course designed by Willard Byrd, is carved into a lush Carolina Forest with hills and mountain-like brooks, making The Preserve at Verdae both scenic and challenging to play.
Our course is situated on over 100 acres of green space in the heart of mid-town Greenville in Verdae Development, and located adjacent to the Embassy Suites Greenville Golf Resort and Conference Center. In addition to the best 18 hole golf layout in the upstate, our facility features large all grass practice areas with driving range, putting green, chipping and short game green. All practice facilities mirror our course with Bermuda tees and fairways and we are the only course in the upstate with Mini-Verde Bermuda greens.
The Preserve at Verdae is committed to the environment. Our mission is ‘Striving for Harmony Between Golf and Nature’. We have re-imagined our landscaping along the course and created naturalized areas reflecting native grasses and plants and reducing the amount of water, pesticides and fertilizers required. In addition we have created an environment attractive to the local wildlife. During your round you may encounter a rafter of turkeys or magnificent hawks soaring above the pine trees. You can play golf many places, but only here can you have The Preserve at Verdae experience. Before or after your round be sure to spend time in our clubhouse golf shop to browse the latest equipment and golf fashions.
Whether you are a beginner golfer or interested in taking your game to the next level, our staff of PGA professionals offer private or group instruction and tailor the lessons to maximize your golfing potential.
Again, welcome and we hope you enjoy the beauty and challenge of The Preserve at Verdae.

On May 8th the Governor of South Carolina updated the executive order to permit indoor dining in restaurants that began Monday, May 11th with certain restrictions and guidelines.
With this new executive order in place, the South Carolina Golf Course Owners Association announced the removal of the single cart requirement at each golf course when inside dining is open. Since patrons are now allowed to sit together at a table, it is also considered safe for golfers to sit in the same golf cart together. If you do not feel safe riding with other golfers, you have the option to walk, wear a mask or pay a $20 surcharge for the individual golf cart (subject to availability).
At the Preserve at Verdae We are committed to the health and well-being of our associates, our guests and our community. The golf course and driving range are both open at this time. We want you to know we are practicing enhanced precautionary measures on our entire property in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The cleaning solutions being used for all items and surfaces, including golf carts, are recommended by the CDC and facemasks are required for entry into the golf shop with no exceptions. If you have any questions please contact the golf shop management for more information at 864.676.1500 x1.
