The Preserve at Verdae is holding The 6th Annual The Preserve at Verdae Open, a Club Championship Golf Tournament open to all competitors on Saturday, October 3rd and Sunday, October 4th.

Pricing

Non-Members will pay $225 for 2 days of golf, driving Range and food. Members will pay $175 for 2 days of golf, driving range and food.

Format

The event will be divided into the Championship Division and Flighted Divisions (Players, Senior, Super Senior, Ladies). Players are eligible to win Gross and Net prizes as well as an optional Skins Game. This event will use hybrid Black/Blue Tee boxes for the Championship Division, Blue/White tees for the Players Division, White/Gold for the Senior Division and Gold/Red Tee Boxes for the Super Senior Division. All women entered will play from the Red Tees.

Handicapping

All players are required to have a GHIN Handicap or Equivalent to be considered for NET Prizes. A player without a handicap would be eligible to win gross prizes only. The Preserve at Verdae Open Tournament Staff will be calculating playing handicaps based off of a players GHIN and then apply it to the course handicap for the appropriate tee boxes.

Pairings

On Day one of The Preserve at Verdae Open all participants will be paired in their respective division with the Championship Flight starting the day, followed by the Players Flight, Senior Flight, Super Senior Flight and finally the Woman’s Flight. After the first day of play The Preserve at Verdae Open Tournament Staff will then re-pair for Day 2 based on Day 1 results. Preferred pairings are not available.

The Verdae Grill will be cooking up some amazing food for the event on both days, menu to be determined.

Championship Flight will be playing from a yardage between 6,800-7,100 yards; Players Division 6,400-6,600; Senior Division 55-64 years old, 5,500-6,100 yards; Super Senior Division 65+ years old, 5,100-5,400 yards, Ladies Division 5,000 yards. The Preserve Open Title can only be won from the championship division. The NEW Players Division will challenge golfers from mid to single digit handicaps (no less than -4.0 index) and no age limit.
