The Preserve at Verdae is holding The 4th Annual The Preserve at Verdae Open, a Club Championship Golf Tournament. Play begins on Saturday, August 19th and will determine a champion on Sunday, August 20th with tee times beginning at 9 am. This is a Club Championship Format, open to all competitors.
Pricing
Non-Members will pay $150 for 2 days of golf, driving Range and food. Members will pay $100 for 2 days of golf, driving range and food.
Format
The event will be divided into the Championship Division and Flighted Divisions (Senior, Super Senior, Ladies). Players are eligible to win Gross and Net prizes as well as an optional Skins Game. This Club Championship Golf Tournament will use hybrid Black/Blue Tee boxes for the Championship Flight, White/Gold for the senior flight and finally Gold/Red Tee Boxes for the Super Senior Flight. All women entered will play from the Red Tees.
Handicapping
All players are required to have a GHIN Handicap or Equivalent to be considered for NET Prizes. A player without a handicap would be eligible to win gross prizes only. The Preserve at Verdae Open Tournament Staff will be calculating playing handicaps based off of a players GHIN and then apply it to the course handicap for the appropriate tee boxes.
Pairings
On Day one of The Preserve at Verdae Open all participants will be paired in their respective division with the Championship Flight starting the day, followed by the Senior Flight, Super Senior Flight and finally the Woman’s Flight. After the first day of play The Preserve at Verdae Open Tournament Staff will then re-pair for Day 2 based on Day 1 results.
After Play
The Embassy Suites Greenville Golf and Conference Resort is providing food on each day of The Preserve at Verdae Open. Day one will have Boxed Lunches and dinner after the round and Day 2 will have boxed lunches only.
